Disney Remasters Childhood Classics

Walt Disney productions has been one of the number one movie companies to produce beloved childhood movies, characters, and shows that have affected kids of all ages, and even adults.
Some of the most popular productions being The Lion King, Dumbo, Aladdin, Frozen, and many more. However, due to the success of the CGI and live-action film of The Jungle Book back in 2016, Disney has made many new announcements during 2018 that there will be remakes or sequels to some of the most captivating, influential movies that they ever created.
Starting the new year off with a bang, the movie Dumbo will be the first remake of the Disney classics to hit the theaters, on March 29, 2019. This childhood film will take on a realistic aspect, ditching its past cartoon version, and involving viewers into the world of an adorable elephant that is famously known for its big ears. The renowned director, Tim Burton, worked his way to bring this live-action film to the big screen.
Another film everyone one has been talking about is the up and coming remake of the Disney movie, Aladdin. Directed by Guy Ritchie, this live actions version of a Disney classic hits theaters on May 24, 2019. Including the famous Will Smith to play the role of the Genie, who Robin Williams voiced over in the original versions of the Aladdin movies, and Naomi Scott to play Jasmine, and Mena Massoud to play the star role of Aladdin
The two films that have been some of the most talked about all over the internet, twitter, instagram, and snapchat since 2018 are the live action version of The Lion King, and the sequel to the famous 2013 Frozen movie, Frozen II.
The new Lion King is set to be released on July 19, 2019, directed by Jon Favreau is expected to take over the cinemas. Releasing the cast of the live-action film, Beyonce is set to voice over the lioness Nala, Seth Rogen, the hilarious Pumbaa, John Oliver, the dramatic red-billed hornbill bird Zazu, and Donald Glover, the adorable Simba. Though this movie has a powerful cast, the detail and realistic characteristics of the special effects are set to expose what is going to be a jaw-dropping, enjoyable experience for all viewers.
Frozen II, directed by Jennifer Lee, and Chris Buck, hits theaters on November 22 of 2019 to kick start winter. This movie released its teaser trailer recently on February 12, to induce excitement for its later arrival. With a new journey for Queen Elsa and Princess Anna, finding themselves far from their home, Arendelle, but for what? Accompanied with their trusty sidekicks Olaf, Kristoff and Sven, a new possible character was introduced in the teaser trailer. Causing fans to jump to possibilities of who this character might be, and why she was so subtly introduced in the trailer.
There is no hesitation in recommending any or all of these up and coming films, watch each of the film’s trailers, and decide which one you’re most excited to see.
