The FSU men and women’s basketball teams head out to Westfield State University Feb. 19 to finish the regular season.
The women Falcons lost their previous game 60-54 against Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, but a win this weekend will give them above a .500 record for the year in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC). A win in their final game could give the Falcons a home game in the playoffs. Tip-off is at 1 p.m.
The FSU men’s team may be able to end their season on a high note after another disappointing loss in their last game, losing to MCLA 76-73. Despite their low MASCAC record, they have looked good in the past weeks, falling only points short in multiple games. Even though they are out of play-off contention, there is no doubt they will play hard to win their final game of the season on Saturday at 3 p.m.
