Campus lighting ceremony

Story and photos by Nicole Rollo

On December 5th, Fitchburg State University held its annual campus lighting. This event brought out students and families from all over Fitchburg and surrounding communities. It was such a wonderful way to have people come together for this holiday gathering. Candles were passed around as the lights went out and students had to their candles lit by community members. After all the candles were lit, it was show time, President, Robert Antonucci, wished everyone happy holidays and the count down began. The tree was lit and holiday music was played. This was truly a great way to start the holidays!
