NFL predictions

WEEK 3 PREDICTIONS
Giants (1-1): 24
Panthers (1-1): 21
Both of these teams came up with big wins in Week 2. Panthers will put up the points early, but these Giants are known for slow starts and strong finishes. They’ll win this one in upset fashion.
Buccaneers (1-1): 16
Cowboys (1-1): 27
The Cowboys were embarrassed in Week 2. They’re playing their home opener and the Dallas faithful won’t allow a 1-2 start. Expect a big win for the Boys.
Jaguars (0-2): 14
Colts (1-1): 23
These are two weak teams trying to formulate some competition against division leader, the Houston Texans. Andrew Luck has displayed success and should outperform struggling Blaine Gabbert.
Bills (1-1): 24
Browns (0-2): 20
The Buffalo Bills were blown out in Week 1 and then blew out the Chiefs in Week 2. Which Buffalo Bills team will show up in Week 3? Well, they’re playing one of the worst teams in the league, so expect them to get the win.
Jets (1-1): 17
Dolphins (1-1): 20
Upset city. I don’t see the Jets playing well on the road. The Dolphins and head coach, Joe Philbin, will be out to prove their ex-head coach (Tony Sparano, Jets Offensive Coordinator) they can win without him.
Chiefs (0-2): 24
Saints (0-2): 35
The Chiefs have been blown out in each of their first two matchups. The Saints are off to their worst start in recent years. There’s no way the Saints are going 0-3 on their home turf.
Bengals (1-1): 17
Redskins (1-1): 24
I like the Redskins here. The Bengals aren’t an easy team to beat, but Robert Griffin III has the Redskins’ offense on a whole new level. If the Redskins can pull off the win here, they can make some unexpected noise in the NFC East.
Rams (1-1): 23
Bears (1-1): 27
The Bears had an ugly showing against the Packers last Thursday night. Jay Cutler got on his players cases about their poor performance. They’re on their home turf and Jay Cutler should be able to turn it around to notch out a win.
49ers (2-0): 28
Vikings (1-1): 17
The 49ers are the best team in the NFL, as of Week 2. Their defense is impossible to score on and their offense is firing on all cylinders. Expect them to roll into Minnesota and come out with an easy win.
Lions (1-1): 38
Titans (0-2): 14
The poor Titans look hopeless. The Lions have been shaky the first two weeks, but are a better, overall team than the Titans. I fully expect Matthew Stafford to light it up against this week pass defense and Chris Johnson will be shut down for the third week in a row.
Falcons (2-0): 24
Chargers (2-0):14
Don’t let the records fool you. The Chargers have yet to play a competitive team. The Falcons are THAT competitive team and they will be delivered their first loss. I see the Falcons going to the NFC Championship game this year, if not the Super Bowl.
Eagles (2-0): 28
Cardinals (2-0): 17
The Cardinals got a huge win last week against the Patriots. Their defense is phenomenal, but their offense is subpar. I expect the dynamic offense of the Eagles to deliver them the loss on their home field.
Steelers (1-1): 27
Raiders (0-2): 21
The Raiders are ugly. Darren McFadden will start to pick up the slack, but it won’t be enough. I expect the Steelers to run up the score early, but allow the Raiders to come back in the second half. Steelers win.
Texans (2-0): 20
Broncos (1-1): 23
This is the game of the week. The Texans mean business this year and so do the Broncos. The Broncos will be hard to beat at home. This one will go right down to the wire with a Matt Prater field goal to win it.
Patriots (1-1): 24
Ravens (1-1): 17
The Patriots looked awful last week. It won’t happen again. They’ll have had a full week of practice without Aaron Hernandez, so they should be prepared. I look for this game to be back and forth, but the Patriots to pull away in the 4th quarter.
Packers (1-1): 28
Seahawks (1-1): 31
I like the Seahawks, especially at home. Their crowd will be roaring on Monday night. I expect them to follow through and upset the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers will put up big numbers, but their defense won’t be able to contain Marshawn Lynch.
