On Dec. 4, Fitchburg State celebrated its annual Lighting of the Campus. Live music was performed by Harmonic Velocity and Dave Binder and hot chocolate was provided for all those who attended. Horse and carriage rides took place around the quad and attendees were given candles as the Highland Plaza was illuminated. Afterwards, everyone was invited to attend the Holmes Dining Commons holiday dinner to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season on campus.
