– Channing Crowder of the Miami Dolphins criticized officials with the following words of wisdom: “They didn’t see Chad Henne get hit twice when he slid. Yeah, a little Stevie Wonder and Anne Frank … Who
Anne Frank is clearly not on Channing Crowder's radar. (photo courtesy Holocaust Historical Society)

was that? Is that the blind girl? Helen Keller … I don’t know who the f— Anne Frank is. I’m mad right now. F— it. I’m not as swift as I usually am.”
– The Cleveland Browns upset the NFL’s best, New England Patriots, on Sunday, 34-14. Peyton Hillis racked up 220 yards with two TDs. He was unstoppable. Wes Welker blames the loss on a bad week of practice.
– The hit that gave Indianapolis Colts’ Austin Collie a concussion was penalized for unnecessary roughness. A lot of criticism came back at the referees, for some don’t believe it was a bad hit.
– The Vikings make a 4th quarter comeback, then won in overtime. Viking fans were heard talking about firing Brad Childress before the game – and talking about making the playoffs, after.
– Percy Harvin, on a badly sprained ankle, hit a career high in receptions (9) with 126 receiving yards.
– Steve Smith commented on his 1-7 Panthers, “It’s like dragging a piano with one arm and one leg. You ain’t getting nowhere fast. That’s where we are.”
– The Dallas Cowboys were humiliated on Sunday Night Football. 45-7 was the score. Felix Jones was the Cowboys’ leading rusher with 16 yards on the ground.
– Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said after the win, “This is the way you want to go into a bye week.”
– Raiders can’t find a way to lose. They’re currently on a 3-game winning streak. Jacoby Ford was the Player of the Game & Mr. Clutch.
