Conner Garrity, Staff Writer
Conner Garrity is a film major who hopes to write and direct movies and TV shows. He is currently in his final semester for school and he hopes to go on an internship this spring. He got into filmmaking thanks to his dad, who introduced him to more mature films such as “Bronx Tail”, “Goodfellas” and “Pulp Fiction”. He has had an interest in playing pool with his family and also works as an usher at a movie theater where he can see any of the new movies for free whenever he wants.
Conner decided to take this class as a form of research, allowing him to find inspiration to write his own stories. He tries to be as accurate as possible when it comes to authenticity in his work. He believes it is good for someone in his field to be authentic when approaching certain stories.
