About 2,200 miles away in Laredo, Texas, there is a family that needs our help.
Members of Fitchburg State University’s Alternative Spring Break team will use their week vacation to make the journey, and rebuild houses there while working for Habitat for Humanity. They will provide their services to simply help others, and have a great time while doing so.
To help foot the bill for this trip, ASB has been holding fundraisers, including the Valentine’s Day Luncheon that brought students, faculty and staff together on Feb 9.
Anyone interested in donating to the Alternative Spring Break team can make checks payable to Fitchburg State Foundation; be sure to write ASB on the memo line.
