On November 6, 2012, Fitchburg State University held its first air hockey tournament. It was held in the Hammond Game room on the ground floor of the Hammond Building. This event attracted several eager players who thought they had what it took to be the champion. As the games became more intense, the players became more competitive. In the end, Jonathan Jena was crowned the champion. He brought home the honor of victor.
