Joey Phillipo joined The Point in September 2021 and holds the positions of photographer, social media editor and staff writer. He is currently a senior studying Communications Media with a concentration in photography and is working to complete a Professional Communications minor.

Joey started to enjoy photography in highschool, where he took several photo and film/video classes. Besides photography, he likes playing guitar and going to concerts and his first show was Black Sabbath in 2013. His dream job would be a musician or a car content YouTuber. To enjoy time outside, Joey likes to go hiking, enjoy nature and skateboard. One of his favorite trips was traveling to Aruba, and he hopes to travel to Japan in the future.
