Yesterday there was an alert sent out that alarmed students because they did not read the previous email that warned them it was just going to be a test.
To further investigate this, we asked about a dozen students lingering in the McKay halls if they check their emails on a daily basis. The answer was unanimous, so we broke it down to how many times a day. The most popular answer was twice a day, while others said that they check when they receive notifications or just sporadically.
The importance of checking your email can keep you updated with our community within the university and keep you in touch with professors and activities.
