Into The Seasons

We+have+seasons%2C+even+the+ones+no+one+sees+when+we+are+alone.
We have seasons, even the ones no one sees when we are alone.

When we are in the off season some of us forget the feeling,
Of having time to breathe or start the healing,
You know… thinking back on what problems may have occurred,
Failing at certain things in life that made your stomach curl,
Or even the thoughts of not being good enough and some you know you can use that saying and apply it to the world…
Because all that glitters isn’t gold and honestly let’s take a closer look to make sure,
We all have ambitions to continue thriving through the institutions,
Some may be loss and others waiting for the doors to finally open,
And its potent to doubt yourself when the going gets tough,
You end up looking in the mirror assuming “I’ve done enough”,
You have more to show and more to give,
Don’t be complacent when life seems adjacent to downfalls that doesn’t deserve anything so don’t chase it,
Rather, face it… maybe take a jab at it, and decide today this is the day when winning is obtainable,
And I know, life throws curve balls that’s interchangeable,
We all aren’t the catcher behind the batter but in order to move forward in life its starts with practice, and that for sure is available,
Don’t ask if you’re capable…
Say today is the day…
To shut the mouths of those who have something to say

This poem relates to all walks of life that are constantly battling with personal situations, sports, school etc. We don’t always have the time to reflect on how we’re doing and considering everyone is caught up in their own lives, it’s hard to check up on others or for them to check up on you. Mental health is a thorn in everyone’s side, causing damage to everything one may be doing such as focusing on school, working out (bettering yourself), or even being able to actually say “I’m okay” or “I’m doing better”. Again, this poem can be used in any example or apply it to any situation that could help give words of encouragement.
