Regardless of political party, all Fitchburg State students were invited by the Student Government Association to come together and watch the 2016 presidential election results pour in on Tuesday night. Students gathered in the Falcon Hub to watch CNN’s coverage of the results while enjoying pizza, snacks, and reasonable conversation. With attendance by both students supporting Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the event successfully stimulated discussion between peers.
