Nick Barrieau, Managing Editor
Nick Barrieau is a senior studying Communications Media with a concentration in Professional Communication at Fitchburg State University. Aside from constantly communicating, Nick serves as the Managing Editor for The Point, where he enjoys writing about campus issues, gaming, and pretty much anything nerdy. Nick is extremely excited to take on the Managing Editor position and can’t wait to deliver a publication that will serve the campus community in a meaningful way.
Nick spends his summers working as a S.T.E.M. specialist at his hometown YMCA camp and enjoys gaming, writing, reading, and being opinionated. On rare occasions, Nick can be spotted struggling to skate around campus, which he isn’t very good at. Let his bright yellow skateboard serve as a warning- he doesn’t really know how to stop!
Next semester, Nick will be going on an internship, and his career goal is to be able to work as a journalist in the gaming industry. Nick is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the Communications Media Honors Society and one day wishes to travel to other countries. Unfortunately, for longtime Nick fans and readers of his former bios, the infamous spoon picture has been retired.
